ELCC 2027, the European Lung Cancer Congress, takes place from 17 to 20 March 2027 at the ICM – International Congress Center Messe München, on the exhibition grounds in Messestadt Riem, east of Munich's city centre. ESMO and the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC) organise it jointly with partner societies, and sessions are also available online.

Where to stay in Munich
There is a small cluster of hotels around Messestadt, within walking distance of the ICM, which works well for short mornings. Most delegates stay in town, where the choice is much wider. Hotels near Hauptbahnhof and Sendlinger Tor sit on the U2 line, around 20 minutes from Messestadt West without a change, and make evenings and group dinners easier to organise.
Planning notes for groups
- The congress runs from Wednesday to Saturday, so plan Tuesday 16 March as the main arrival night.
- IHM, a large public trade fair, uses the same exhibition grounds from 10 to 14 March 2027. It closes three days before ELCC, but check rates near the fairground carefully if your group arrives early that week.
- Agree release dates, attrition and name-change terms early, and keep them in line with your company's hospitality rules.
