ESC Congress 2027, the European Society of Cardiology's annual congress, comes to Milan for the first time from 27 to 30 August 2027. Its listing in the MedTech Europe Conference Vetting System gives Fiera Milano in Rho, on the north-western edge of the city, as the venue. Around 30,000 members of the cardiovascular community attend each year.

Where to stay in Milan

Few hotels are within walking distance of the fairground, and Milan itself has far more choice. Hotels along the M1 red line, or near Porta Garibaldi where suburban trains run straight to Rho-Fiera, keep the morning trip simple and leave the evenings free in the city.

Planning notes for groups

  • The congress opens on a Friday, so plan the peak night for Thursday 26 August.
  • Rho is outside Milan's city fare zone. Delegates need a Mi1–Mi3 ticket, not a standard urban ticket.
  • Late August is still holiday time in Milan, and some restaurants keep their summer closures until the end of the month. Confirm group dinner venues early.
  • Medtech companies will find the congress in the Conference Vetting System under EMT-26-12178. Agree release dates, attrition and name-change terms early, and keep them in line with your company's hospitality rules.
